P.R.I.D.E. was established during the 1995/1996 school year. Our organization, which is our P.T. O., was established to support and assist our teachers and children in their academic and social endeavors.
Our meetings are held either the 1st or 2nd Tuesday of the month. They are held in the Art/Computer Room on the 2nd floor from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. For those who need a babysitter, Student Council provides services for $1.00 per child in the Extended Care Room located on the 1st floor. For those parents attending the P.R.I.D.E. meeting,
you will earn a N.U.T. (No Uniform Today) Certificate for your child(ren). Starting new this year, we are having classroom competitions (popcorn party, popsicle party, additional N.U.T. certificate) for highest parental participation.
For those parents who would like to get involved in P.R.I.D.E., but cannot attend the meetings, please complete a membership form. (The form can be found on our website). You may also reach the P.R.I.D.E. officers by email, which can be found on our website. When volunteers are needed, we will contact you to see if you are available to help. You can also indicate on the form, which committee(s) you would like to participate in. Please remit the completed form to your child's teacher or to the school office.
